Aaloo Palak Qeema ( POTATO MINCE AND SPINACH )
minced mutton or beef 1/2 kg
potato 4 med
spinach 1/2 kg
fenugreek leaves 2 cups
med onion sliced 1
tomato 2 med chopped
green chilies 4,5
sliced ginger 1 1/2 inch
cumin seeds 1 tsp
garam masala 1/2 tsp
turmeric 1/4 tsp
salt 1 tsp
red chili pwd 1 tsp
coriander pwd 1 1/2 tbsp
garlic paste 1 tbsp
yogurt 1 cup
oil 1/2 cup
pour oil in a pan and slightly fry onion
when edges gets brown add garlic paste and mince in it.
cook till all water gets dry and mince changes its color.
add all spices in it and cook just 2,3 minutes.
when water dries out add tomatoes in it and 1/2 glass water for cooking it completely.
it takes 3,4 minutes on med low flame then add potatoes , fresh fenugreek leaves and spinach in it.
cover the lid so the water will be released from the veggies.
now cook it on med flame un till it cooks completely.
add yogurt and ginger in it.
when all water from the yogurt gets dry add green chilies and a pinch of garam masala on top.
simmer for 5 minutes and then serve with naan or chapati.
