quick and easy recipe for ramadan specially.
mutton 350 gram or derh pao
onion 1 large
tomato 1 large
green chili 4,5
ginger 1 inch sliced
coriander leaves 2 tbsp
red chili pwd 1/2 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
cumin powder 1/2 tsp
coriander 1 tbsp
turmeric 1/4 tsp
garam masala pwd 1/2 tsp
cloves 3
black pepper corn 8, 10
big cardamom 1
cinnamon stick 1/2 inch
ginger paste 1 tsp
garlic paste 1 .5 tsp
yogurt 1/2 cup
OIL 1/2 cup
METHOD
First fry onion til edges gets a nice brown color, now add ginger garlic paste with meat .
cook it 2,3 minutes until it changes color and all water released from it evaporates.
now add all spices except garam masala pwd
add tomatoes and add 1/2 cup water to cook the spices and tomatoes nicely.
when oil comes out add yogurt and cook til again oil comes out.
now add 1.5 glass water for slow cooking method and cook 40 minutes on low flame or use a presure cooker add 1/2 glass water and give it presure for 3 ,4 minutes
add water for gravy or adjust gravy
its bhuna gosht basically so no need to make gravy very runny ,just a thick gravy is good for it .
then add ginger sliced,green chilies,coriander and garam masala on top ,
mix and simmer it for 2 minutes and serve.
