CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE

Ingredients

1 X 5 inch round chocolate and walnut cake
Sugar syrup as required
Chocolate syrup as required
2 cups chocolate ganache+ as required
2 cups whipped cream

Method

1. Trim the hard crust of the cake. Slice the cake into half.
2. Take a medium square card covered with aluminum foil. Place a cake slice over. Drizzle some sugar syrup and chocolate syrup over the slice. Spread a portion of chocolate ganache evenly. Repeat the process with other layer.
3. Trim the edges of the cake.
4. Cover the top and sides of the cake with some chocolate ganache.Dip palate knife in hot water and even out the chocolate ganache layer.
5. Mix some ganache with 1 cup whipped cream. Fill in ganache-whipped cream mixture in a piping bag fitted with nozzle. Fill in remaining whipped cream in another piping bag fitted with a nozzle.
6. Pipe out ganache-cream mixture and whipped cream on and all over the cake to decorate it.
7. Serve.
