shaljam palak qeema ,its delicious
turnip ( shaljam ) 1/2 kg
mince (qeema ) 1/2 kg
spinach (palak ) blanched and chopped 1/2 kg
g.g paste 1 tbsp
ginger 1 inch julliene
onion 1 med fine chopped
green chilies 4,5
tomatoes 2,3 med fine chopped
yogurt 1/2 cup
red chili flakes 1 tsp full
red chili pwd 1/2 tsp
salt 1 tsp
cumin seeds 1 tsp
turmeric 1/4 tsp
cumin pwd 1/2 tsp
oil 1/2 cup.
in a pot add mince,g.g paste,spices except garam masala pwd,oil and 1 cup water and mix well.
now cover the lid and cook it on med flame for 15 mins.
cook it till all water gets dry completely and oil comes out on top.
then add all veggies and mix again.add 1/44 cup water if required.
when veggies gets 70% soft add yogurt and cook on med high flame and reduce all water 90% then add ginger julliene,green chilies and garamm masala pwd and simmer for 5 mins more and serve.
