Five million people live in a land area smaller than New York City. To make such a small and highly urbanised place liveable, Singapore is embarking on its most ambitious project to date. Three massive gardens – the size of 177 football pitches – will house thousands of plants from all over the planet. This is the country’s most ambitious greening project to date and no one has ever attempted such designs before.
