Stargazers are often found by Melbourne Divers in Port Phillip Bay.They bury them selves in the sand waiting for unsuspecting fish to swim close by. They position them selves where all the fish action is likely to be. Often found buried in the sand near Pylons or rocky ledges. Fortunately for us they are not 2-3 metres long as they would be more of a threat to swimmers than a White pointer or Salt water Crocodile.
