Justice League is the modern revamped version of the 1970’s “Superfriends” and later the 1980’s “Super Powers Team”, with a fresh new artwork and darker themes. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Flash combine forces to save the world and defeat the legions of evil. Later, they are joined in the WatchTower by other super heroes from the DC Comics universe against Darkseid, the evil ruler of Apokolips.
