Uncovering The Mystery of Mantas Great Blue Wild

The Wild Coast of South Africa, stretching 170 miles where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans converge, is the focus of manta ray researcher Andrea Marshall's first expedition within the country. Aiming to prove that mantas migrate from Mozambique to feed during the sardine run, Andrea and fellow researcher Dr. Fabrice Jaine deploy camera tags to uncover their behavior amidst predatory dolphins and sharks. Despite initial challenges, they spot multiple mantas, including a rare reef manta, confirming a resident population and marking the first known instance of reef mantas in this region.
