When you see Destiny Rogers rollin down the empty streets of Lodi in the video for "Tomboy," it's not a music video fantasy. The NoCal native grew up in the area, and she's a wayyyyy better than average boarder. Next to music, it's her prime passion. But music is what the 19-year-old singer is dedicated to these days, and we're happy. Her laid back R&B sound is instantly infectious, and tracks such as "LockDown" and "Tomboy" fit into your chill playlists perfectly. Destiny was in New York recently, so we had her swing by to give fans - the number of which are growing every week - a more stripped-down spin on her latest jewels.
