We're often asked what type of dog someone should get. Our standard answer is usually "go to your nearest animal shelter and see what they have".

Adult dogs are great. They don't require all the awkward attention and training a puppy requires and in general, they are much more happy to learn.

We think everyone should consider adopting an adult dog when deciding on what dog they want in their homes.
