There's no rule that says you can't daily drive a Porsche sports car, but the brand's 911 and 718 two-doors aren't the most practical forms of transportation. Luckily, the 2022 Panamera sedan couples Porsche's fun-to-drive attitude with a four-door body and a premium cabin to create a more balanced option for those who need space for kids and cargo. Most models come with a turbocharged V-6 but a 473-hp twin-turbo V-8 is also available, as is a plug-in hybrid with up to 552 horsepower. The Panamera's handling is engaging and eager, just like the brand's sports cars, and its fastback roofline gives it a racier look than similarly priced sports sedans such as the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-AMG E63. If you need even more practicality, Porsche will sell you a Panamera Sport Turismo station wagon, or if you want more power there's also the Panamera Turbo; we review both of those models separately
