Why the World's Northernmost Town Exists

This is a story about why the northernmost town in the world exists. This town in the arctic circle, close to the north pole, is known as Longyearbyen Svalbard. Longyearbyen and Svalbard have some pretty remarkable history behind it, and is one of the coldest places in the world.
