In fact, everything is not quite right, Audi is actively developing a completely new luxury car, and the project itself is known within the company under the code name Artemis, I have already told you about this project many times and now a new piece of information has appeared that gives an idea of the new, ultimate the company's flagship, better known as the Audi A9 Landjet.
With this name, the company hints at an uncontested level of comfort and luxury that has never been offered in this segment before. And partly, I want to believe in the words of Audi managers, because an electric car, and it will be an electric car, will be built on the familiar PPE platform, although it will undergo a deep modernization and receive new modules, codenamed SSP, about which little is known at the moment, but they will have a positive effect on the energy efficiency of the final product. The new development will form the basis of not only the flagship of Audi, but also a luxury model from Porsche and, most importantly, the same platform will be used in Bentley, which means that the level of comfort will be prohibitive
In other words, the A9 Landjet will become the pinnacle of luxury and comfort, and the Audi A8 Horch will look like a poor relative against its background.
Audi already has hints of what the future flagship will look like, it’s not for nothing that the company showed a very unusual concept of the Grand Sphere luxury sedan last year, it is this project that will become the basis for the new LandJet, of course, not all solutions will be used in the production model, but a lot of things will find their own. place in the new flagship, this is a completely flat floor and a huge voice-activated touchscreen display stretching from rack to rack, vegan materials in the finish instead of genuine leather, an unusual exterior style, advanced aerodynamics and a new generation power plant consisting of two electric motors. According to preliminary data, its power will be more than 720 forces and 1000 Nm of torque, and thanks to the new 120 kWh battery with an operating voltage of 800 volts with an advanced cooling system like the Audi e tron GT and Porsche Taycan, the new flagship will be able to drive more than 750 km of track and show a decent level of performance.
