Contra: Operation Galuga (魂斗羅 オペレーション ガルガ Kontora Operēshon Garuga?) is an upcoming run-and-gun platformer video game set in the Contra universe developed by WayForward and published by Konami. It is slated for release on March 12, 2024 on current generation platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). The game is a reimagining of the arcade/NES version of Contra with modern graphics and new mechanics.[1][2] A demo was released for Steam on February 21, 2024
