"Tee for Two" (fragment), is a 1945 one-reel animated cartoon and is the 20th Tom and Jerry short. It was produced in Technicolor and released to theatres on July 21, 1945 by Metro-Goldwyn Mayer. The cartoon name is a pun on the phrase "Tea for two". It was the final wartime Tom and Jerry cartoon.
Interesting facts:
This the second cartoon in which Tom and Jerry play sports.
The name is a parody of the Tea as a couple (Tea for Two).
In this cartoon Tom again did not understand the danger of a small bomb (the first time was in "The Yankee Doodle Mouse").
Gag with the "one-armed bandit" will be used in a few more episodes.
In this series, Jerry be haves more aggressively, as when they are the first compete Jerry never going to cheat.
Based on a series of "Jerry’s Diary" the action of this cartoon takes place on April 5 Sunday.
