Take your kids winter camping! Snow camping with a 4 year old

Today on Dirt Lifestyle we are taking my son snow camping! Winter camping is not something I would recommend for just anyone. Overland style travel has it's own inherent risks and when it is snowy like this everything is taken up a notch! But with the right company, preparation and attitude this can be a great way to get out of the house and reflect on what is important. On this trip I bring one of the most important people in my life... my son! I think it is in their (our children's) best interest to be exposed to the wonder and value of the great outdoors. My son/ kiddos fell in love camping this summer but I want to show Chris that sometimes you need to earn your fun. I want him to learn to be happy even when the conditions aren't perfect.
