What should have been a quiet afternoon near the lake turned into a scene from a horror movie, when a man was attacked by a crocodile — and lost a limb.
Footage of the incident posted on LiveLeak shows the man half-submerged in a lake in an unspecified location. He looks desperate and clings to his companions on the shore.
The man was reportedly attacked by a crocodile, which may have attempted to drag him into the water by the leg.
Bloodcurdling screams are heard as the camera pans away, and the man is then seen being carried away by three people. His left leg has been bitten off, while the right is stained red with blood. The man looks deathly pale but appears to still be semi-conscious.
One bystander was so traumatized by the sight of the bloody, severed leg that he fainted.
It’s not known just how badly the croc victim was injured — or whether he even survived the terrifying attack.
