Gajrela Recipe in English:


Ingredients:
-Doodh (Milk) Fresh & boiled 1 & ½ liters
-Chawal (Rice) Soaked ¼ Cup
-Gajar (Carrots) Grated 300 gms
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp
-Cheeni (Sugar) ½ cup
-Pista (Pistachio) chopped 2-3 tbs
-Badam (Almonds) Blanched & chopped 2-3 tbs

Directions:
-Rinse, peel and grate the carrots.
-In pot,heat milk,add rice (crushed) and carrots, mix well.
-Add cardamom powder,cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes and keep stirring in between.
-Now add sugar,mix well until sugar is dissolved.
-Cook until milk is reduced and thickened.
-Add pistachio and almonds, give it a good mix.
-Serve hot or cold.

Ajza:
-Doodh (Milk) Fresh & boiled 1 & ½ liters
-Chawal (Rice) Soaked ¼ Cup
-Gajar (Carrots) Grated 300 gms
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp
-Cheeni (Sugar) ½ cup
-Pista (Pistachio) chopped 2-3 tbs
-Badam (Almonds) Blanched & chopped 2-3 tbs

Directions:
-Gajar ko dho ker cheel lein aur kadukash ker lein.
-Pot mein doodh garam karein,chawal (crushed) aur gajar dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Elaichi powder dal ker halki ancch per 15-20 minute kliya paka lein aur chamcha chalatay rahein.
-Ab cheeni shamil karein, chamcha chalatay rahein yaha tak ka cheeni ghul jaye.
-Doodh kum hunay aur garha hunay tak paka lein.
-Pista aur badam dal ker mix ker lein.
-Garam ya thanda serve karein.
