5 - Not only is this crude knuckle duster likely to break your jaw, it will also leave you with a face in desperate need of a few stitches.
Made from a rasp that was likely stolen from the prison workshop, and then wrapped with old cloth to make the padded handle.
The weapon was found in a cell in a prison in Germany, sometime around 1993.

4 - When Lorenzo Pollard decided he was going to do a jail break, his weapon of choice was was a pair of nun-chucks, made out of bedsheets and chair legs.
This idea was so simple but highly effective as he managed to fend off over a dozen jail guards, break a window using them and then scale a razor blade
fence. Not a bad feat for just 2 bits of wood and some cloth! Unfortunately for him he was quickly recaptured.

3 - The razor blade whip. This whip was found in 1996 in a jail cell in Hamburg, Germany. Made from a little wooden plank, a shoelace and obviously razor blades.
It was found from a search of a cell after an drug addicted inmate threatened a female officer with a prison made knife whilst trying to extort a higher methadone ration.

2 - In the past, inmates quite often made flame-throwers out of coffee creamer. Yep, you heard me right, flame-throwers out of coffee creamer. They would find a tube, hold a flame at one end and blow creamer through it .
The creamer would pass through the flame and obviously blow out a huge fireball of death. This is now the reason why inmates are forced to drink black coffee, but i'm pretty sure the black coffee will be turned into some sort of imaginative
Weapon soon enough.

1 - This crossbow is the most creative and one of the most lethal weapons on this list.It was made by a Canadian inmate who was in solitary confinement at the time. The list of items used to make it is absurd.
It was built from 10 toothbrushes, aluminium cafeteria tongs, rubber gloves,screws and many many other assorted items.
The darts were made from tightly rolled paper, aluminium foil found in cigarette packs, pieces of wire and masking tape. If i was an inmate and another inmate pulled this weapon out on me i wouldn't know whether to be impressed or fear for my life.
id be like before you shoot me can i just say .How you managed to build that crossbow out of nothing is mighty impressive, your talents are definitely wasted in this prison.
