Chicken in whole spices (Kharey Masale ki Murghi)

Recipe in English

Ingredients:

1. Chicken (karhai cut) 750 gms
2. Oil 2 tbsp
3. Ginger 1 tbsp
4. Garlic 1 tbsp
5. Onion 01 medium size (sliced)
6. Cumin seeds 1tsp
7. Coriander seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp. (slightly crushed)
8. Cloves 08 cloves
9. Cinnamon sticks 02 pieces
10. Black pepper corns 1 tsp
11. Green cardamom 10-12 pieces (tap slightly)
12. Black cardamom 03 pieces (tap slightly)
13. Whole red chills 04 pieces (tap slightly)
14. Salt 1 tbsp or to taste
15. Yogurt 1 cup
16. Fresh coriander for garnishing

Directions:

1. Heat oil in a pot, add onion and fry until soft and translucent
2. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes
3. Now add all the spices from 6-13 one by one and fry little more
4. Add chicken and fry it on a medium flame until white color appears
5. Add yogurt and mix it
6. Add salt and give it a good mix
7. Cover and cook until meat is tender on low flame for half an hour
8. Remove the cover and cook for another 15 minutes
9. Garnish with green coriander

1. Chicken (karhai cut) 750 gms
2. Oil 2 tbsp
3. Adrak 1 tbsp
4. Lehsan 1 tbsp
5. Pyaz 01 (sliced)
6. Zeera 1 tsp
7. Dhania powder 1 & ½ tsp (crushed)
8. Laung 08
9. Dar cheeni 02 piece
10. Kali mirch 1tsp
11. Hari Elaichi 10-12 piece
12. Badi elaichi 03 piece
13. Sabut Lal Mirch 04 piece
14. Namak 1 tbsp or to taste
15. Dahi 1 cup
16. Hara dhania for garnishing

Directions:

1. Pot mein tel dal ker garam ker lein,ab pyaz dal ker naram ker lein
2. Adrak aur lehsan dal ker halka sa fry ker lein
3. Ab is mein saray masalay 6-13 dal ker halka sa fry ker lein
4. Chicken dal ker halka sa fry kerlein safad color anay tak
5. Dahi aur namak dal ker mix ker lein
6. Pot ko dhak dein adha ghantay kliya halki flame per
7. Dhakna hata ker mazeed 15 minute kliya paka lein
8. Akhir mein hara dhnaia sa garnish karein
