This is Anna's first litter of baby Holland Lop bunnies. One of the three babies is a "peanut" bunny, which means it received two copies of the dwarf gene (one from each parent). Peanuts don't survive and normally cannot live past a few days, but this one lived for 12 days and sadly died the day after this video was filmed, on day 12. **UPDATE: THE PEANUT DID NOT SURVIVE. The little peanut baby miraculously lived for 12 days, but since peanuts' pituitary glands do not produce adequate growth hormones, they just aren't able to grow and thrive. There are rare occasions where the bunny may actually be a nano or max factor and able to live, so this is why I do not euthanize bunnies that appear to be peanuts, there's a slim glimmer of hope the baby could survive. Thank you for all of the "likes" and kind comments!
